In the 1940's Bulgari released their first timepiece called the Serpenti or 'Snake' watch.  It was unlike anything ever released before, featuring previously unseen bold coils of gem studded gold. Their presence became larger in the 1970's, when Bugari founded 'Bulgari Time' in the heart of Switzerland.
