Pierre Jaquet-Droz was born in 1721 on a small farm in La Chaux-de-Fonds. He began to take a serious interest in clockmaking and precision mechanics under the authority of older relatives. This proved to be a revaltion to him, a mechanical genuis and a pioneer in the art of the Haute Horlogerie jewelry watch. To this day his brand is still inspired by his dreams.
