Michel Parmigiani started out by restoring antique pieces during the time that the 'quartz crisis' was disrupting the luxury watch industry. In laters years, he restored important timepieces from Musée Patek Philippe and the Château des Monts.  In 2004 Parmigiana Fleurier signed a partnership with Bugatti to produce a limited series of watches.
