Before founding his own company in 1846, Ulysee Nardin perfected his skill under two master watchmakers Frederic William Dubois and Louis JeanRichard-dit-Bressel. In 1865 the company moved to its rue Jardin premises where it continues to manufacture watches to this day. Importantly in 1983 the company welcomed Rolf W. Schynder, who ushered in a new and exciting era with a brand re launch. In 2016 Ulysee Nardin celebrated their 170^th Anniversary of the foundation.
