Spirit

The Longines Spirit collection follows the pioneering aviation history of the brand with a fresh design, relating to pilots like Amelia Earhart and Elinor Smith who used Longines instruments. Boasting 5 stars on the dial as an ode to the quality of the calibres, the dials are highly legible with Arabic numerals and some variants have flyback functionality as noted with the Zulu versions.

Reflecting the enduring spirit of adventure, The Longines Spirit collection of watches represents a harmonious blend of aviation heritage, precision craftsmanship, and contemporary design. Whether appreciated for its historical significance or its practical features for modern adventurers, the Spirit collection embodies Longines' dedication to producing timepieces of quality and style.

The most popular Longines Spirit is the Spirit Zulu Time L3.802.4.63.6. Sized at 39mm, they feature a black dial with gold hands and Arabic numerals, alongside 5 stars representing the quality of the movement.

Heritage

Combining the classical styles of the brand's predecessors, The Heritage collection is finished with modern movements and functionality. Deviating away from their sporty timepieces, they focus more on dress watches and complications like moon-phases.

The Heritage Collection is designed to appeal to watch enthusiasts who appreciate both the historical significance of vintage timepieces and the enduring elegance of classic design. These watches are versatile, and suitable for both formal and casual occasions.

It reflects the brand's commitment to preserving its horological legacy while embracing contemporary advancements. The collection offers a captivating blend of nostalgia and modernity, making it a sought-after choice for those who appreciate the timeless beauty of vintage-inspired watches.

The Flagship Heritage L4.795.4.78.2 is the most popular model. Given a silver dial and gilt hands, the watch is minimalist with a small date aperture at 6 o’clock and the case is beautifully curved.

Hydroconquest

Originally released in 2007, the Hydroconquest collection represents Longines main modern dive collection. Showcasing a classic diving scale, the dials tend to utilise oversized Arabic numerals located at 12, 6 and 9 o’clock, a large crown and 300 metres of water resistance.

The Longines HydroConquest is a prominent and well-regarded collection within the brand's lineup, known for its robust design, dive watch functionality, and sporty aesthetic. The Longines HydroConquest is a popular choice among divers and watch enthusiasts who appreciate a blend of performance, durability, and style. Whether worn for underwater exploration or as a sporty everyday timepiece, the HydroConquest embodies Longines' commitment to accuracy and functionality.

The Hydroconquest L3.790.4.96.6 is a popular model which has 300 metres of water resistance, a blue display and a handy 60 minute diving bezel alongside GMT functionality as noted by the extra hour hand.

Master

The Master collection is one of Longines' dress watch lines. Launched in 2005, the Master has become one of the brand's leading ranges. Featuring a variety of dial styles, including salmon sheens with unorthodox Arabic numerals, they are either very minimalist or feature moon phase or small second complications.

Known for its versatility and classic aesthetic, the Master Collection includes a wide range of models, from simple three-hand watches to more complex complications. They embody a harmonious blend of classic aesthetics, technical innovation, and versatility. Whether chosen for its timeless design, precision movements, or the appeal of specific complications, the Master Collection embodies Longines' dedication to creating watches that stand the test of time

A popular model is the Master Collection L2.893.4.92.0. Crafted out of steel, the 42mm watches feature a transparent caseback, a sunray blue dial and applied indexes for maximum legibility.

Record

Released in 2017, The Record collection was produced to celebrate the brand's 185th anniversary. Minimalism is the order of the day, showcasing a simple dial with chronograph functionality, Arabic numerals and a tachymetric scale that runs around the periphery of these eye-catching watches.

The Longines Record Collection caters to individuals who appreciate classic design, precision timekeeping, and the heritage of Swiss watchmaking. Whether chosen for its chronometer-certified movements, classic aesthetics, or a combination of both, the Record Collection reflects Longines' tradition of creating watches that embody both elegance and performance

The Record L2.921.4.56.6 could be noted as a strong model. At 40mm, the steel watches feature a black dial with gold effects in the form of a tachymetric scale on the periphery of the dial and dual Arabic and baton hour markers throughout.

Ultra-Chron

The Ultra-Chron line develops from the original release back in 1968. Known for its high-frequency movements, which allowed for enhanced accuracy, they pay homage to the stylings of the past. Originally based on the first high-frequency diver watch, this line has sought to maintain a few design codes including a chunky red seconds hand, 300 metres of water resistance and an instantly recognizable 43mm cushion shaped case.

The best Ultra-Chron model is the L2.836.4.52.6. Sized at a very chunky 43mm, the watches have a 300 metre water resistance alongside a 36,600VpH L836 calibre with a 52 hour power reserve.

Pilot Majetek

The Majetek was originally released between 1935 and 1948 for the Czechoslovakian Air Force and eventually civilians. The term "Majetek" actually translates to "property" or "equipment" in Czech.

With only 3000 watches released throughout that period, the collection was re-released in 2014 with a larger 42mm case and a new fixed bezel. They now have a highly legible dial with large Arabic numerals, small seconds based at 6 o’clock and a beautiful cushion shaped case.

Due to their historical significance, authenticity, and limited production, the Longines Pilot Majetek watches have become highly collectible among watch enthusiasts and military history collectors. Well-preserved and documented examples are particularly sought after in the vintage watch market. While the original Longines Pilot Majetek watches from the 1930s are rare and remain highly valued pieces.

Conquest

Longines Conquest watches were released in 1954 and swiftly became very recognizable. Originally characterised by automatic movements and solid caseback emblems, they have maintained their arrow-shaped hour markers and a brushed minute track that opposes the sunray background. Now, the Conquest is available with the sportier Arabic dial and baton hour markers combination, with some newer versions with added chronograph functionality.

The Conquest L3.835.4.32.6 is 42mm of steel in a secured sapphire crystal. Fitted above a champagne style dial, the black chronograph subdials and silvered hours markers and hands clearly stand out.

Elegant

The Elegant collection is the best summation of the “Elegance is an attitude” slogan. Featuring gentle curvature in a circular dress watch design, the hour markers are kept short and sweet with diamond indexes or elegant batons. Wearers can choose from mother-of-pearl or sunray finished dial in a variety of colours and a recessed small seconds sub-dial at 6 o’clock.

The Longines Elegant is a showcase of classic design, quality craftsmanship, and practical functionality. Whether you're drawn to the timeless aesthetic or the reliability of the automatic movements, the Elegant collection embodies Longines' dedication to creating watches that stand the test of time in both style and performance.

Flagship

Launched in 1957, The Flagship collection was and featured Dauphine shaped hands and a small seconds at 6 o’clock. Now, they have evolved to become more subtle, opting to remove the small seconds and add a date aperture positioned at 3 o’clock, as well as a number of finishes and materials such as yellow and rose gold combined with steel.

The Flagship L4.984.4.59.2 combines a black leather strap with a black dial background, allowing the silvered hour markers and hands to clearly stand out. There is a small date aperture at 3 o'clock which is powered by the L888 calibre, offering 72 hours of power reserve and 25,200VpH.
