New Dates Revealed For Watches and Wonders Geneva 2024 Starting April 9th

Following the immense success of Watches and Wonders 2023, the watchmaking stakes have been upped even more with new dates announced for Watches and Wonders Geneva 2024.
The 2024 edition has now been revealed to ravenous horophiles, collectors and enthusiasts by the The Watches and Wonders Geneva Foundation (WWGF).
Starting slightly later next year, Watches and Wonders Geneva 2024 will take place between April the 9th and 15th.
This time, the general public will have the opportunity to attend over the long weekend including the 13th, 14th and 15th of April
Selling out well in advance of this hotly anticipated horological event, Geneva’s Halles de Palexpo and the city will play host again to Watches and Wonders Geneva 2024.

Watches and Wonders 2023 - Rewind

Time to reveal last year’s astonishing figures on the grandest horological stage of them all. A phenomenal success with a plethora of astonishing new releases, there was much to shout about at Watches and Wonders 2023 across the week.

Showcasing 50 brands with more than 40,000 visitors, up from 20,000 people in 2022 this rip-roaring display of luxury timepieces firmly put to bed the ghost of Baselworld.

And with nearly 1.500 journalists in Geneva as well as more than 12,000 registrations for the Touch and Feel sessions, it goes to show the popularity of horology. Nothing is off the horological table when it comes to new timepieces, luxury refinery, exquisite craftsmanship and cool calibres.

From the unveiling of the new Rolex Yacht-Master in titanium and the 1908 to Patek Philippe releasing 17 magnificent watches, there was much to drool over by enthusiasts young and old. Plus, let’s not forget a big shout out to our green fingered friend, the Kermit Oris. It’s a big Yaaaaaay from us.

Watches and Wonders Geneva 2024 Itinerary

Has horological fever gripped you yet? There’s a feeling of Groundhog Day as Watches and Wonders Geneva 2024 takes place between the 9th and 15th of April in the Halles de Palexpo, moments from Lake Geneva.

With a string of brands at the Palexpo, there will be plenty of space as this exhibition centre spans across some 100,000 square metres.

Furthermore, there will be a special event held on the evening of Thursday April 11th in Geneva town centre. The full schedule and enticing programme for Watches and Wonders Geneva 2024 will no doubt be launched at a later date to tantalise timekeepers.

But at least we have the dates in place for all you keen enthusiasts and timelords. Expect many of the main protagonists from last year’s timekeeping bonanza to make an appearance showing their treasure trove of new novelties. And, visitors to this illustrious festival can enjoy numerous brand events running on the Rue du Rhône within their boutique stores.

You can bet your bottom dollar Tudor, Cartier, Patek Philippe, IWC, Zenith, Vacheron Constantin and of course Rolex will be the high rollers at the watchmaking table among many other brands.

With both the traditional press and public experiencing what there is to see in the Salon, we wouldn’t be surprised to see unique visitors in excess of 80,000 for Watches and Wonders Geneva 2024.

Our timekeeping moles tell us that other brands such as Breitling and Bremont will also be jumping on the bandwagon for Watches and Wonders Geneva 2024. Nothing has been put forward as of yet but when we receive the breaking newswatch, you know Chrono Hunter will be on it as quick as the El Primero movement…if not quicker!

With nine months to go until Watches and Wonders Geneva 2024, we are thrilled the event organisers are going the extra mile. This is especially the case with extending its invitation further to the general public over the long weekend. Plus the new influx of brands will be a welcome addition.

Accessibility is the order of the day, or week, as organisers are clearly focused on giving enthusiasts and horophiles even greater presence at Watches and Wonders Geneva 2024. And who are we to rain on their parade. Well the clock is certainly ticking. Time to get the diary open and look for the best flights to Geneva before they sell out!
