Sure enough, they were paramount in the subsequent Grande Complications that were popularised during the 1890’s including minute repeaters and perpetual calendars. 
• The legendary Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso was released in 1931 during the period when British soldiers were stationed in India. Boasting Art Deco lines and a reversible case, the watches were designed to support the soldiers who played polo. They complained that their crystals were getting smashed, so JLC released a watch that could be reversed in order to protect the dial. 70 years on and it is a stalwart in their catalogue which is still madly lusted after today and worn by the likes of their new brand ambassador for 2023…none other than Lenny Kravitz. 
• Jaeger-LeCoultre released the calibre 920 in 1967. This isn’t any old calibre. In fact, it’s the only ebauche movement that's been adopted by all three members of the Holy Trinity, Audemars Piguet, Vacheron Constantin and Patek Philippe. Sized at just 2.45mm thickness, it ran the iconic Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 5402ST from 1972 (the saviour of the Quartz Crisis!), the Patek Philippe Nautilus 3700/1A that was launched in 1976 and The Vacheron Constantin 222. 
• One of Jaeger-LeCoultre's famed complicated watches is the Gyrotourbillon I. Released in 2004, these luxury watches boasted a perpetual calendar, double retrograde indicators and running equation of time. 
• In 2006, they went a step further with the awesome Reverso Grande Complication à Triptyque. As the first watch to feature three dials powered by a single movement, they cemented their status as one of the kings of complications with the Hybris Mechanica à Grande Sonnerie with a whopping 26 complications.
