The Top 12 Most Popular Vacheron Constantin Watches For Men
Vacheron Constantin are no time wasters in the luxury sphere.
Founded in 1755 within the home of watchmaking, Geneva Switzerland, the brand was destined for greatness, meaning just 15 years later they began setting records such as the world's first horological complication in 1770.
Swiftly becoming part of the Holy Trinity group, home to Audemars Piguet and Patek Philippe, the Genevan giants have one of the best horological histories that's packed with success and various displays of watchmaking excellence.
They’ve consistently stuck to their motto ‘Faire mieux si possible, ce qui est toujours possible’ or ‘Do better if possible and that is always possible’ ever since Francois Constantin sent it in a letter to Jacques-Barthelemy Vacheron in 1819.
As such, they’ve continued to evolve, developing from creating the world's first world time watch with 31 time zones in 1932 to making one of the most complicated watches ever created in 1935 for the King Farouk of Egypt.
In the modern era, Vacheron Constantin totals 5 collections which all relate to the strong heritage of the brand. Be it the Metiers D’Art that’s an immense display of timekeeping artistic flair with many watches concentrating on the Chinese New Year, they have their finger on both the horological and the creative pulse. We suppose they aren't mutually exclusive!
How about the Fifty Six collection that was released in 2018 and carefully includes retroism following their original line in 1956? Plus, they know how to celebrate in style, as defined by their Ref. 57260 in 2015 which celebrates their 250th anniversary with a 57 complication-filled watch.
We have to stop ourselves here for a second. We could keep reeling off their best achievements for years! Nevertheless, let’s not keep you horophiles in suspense for any longer. Please join us as we run through the best Vacheron Constantin watches for men including their key design points and current value.
Let’s get into it!
1. Vacheron Constantin Overseas Tourbillon High Jewellery 6007V/210G-B955
Hopefully by the time you are reading this, the festive lights are up and the Christmas tree is casting a tremendous shadow over the presents. If you aren't, not to worry, we have a fresh piece from Vacheron Constantin that will replace that doom and gloom around the cost of living crisis!

Developing from the iconic Overseas collection that stems back to 2019, the Overseas Tourbillon High Jewellery adds a fresh slant onto the originally quite conservative collection. Saying that, the Overseas Tourbillon did appear in a beautiful rose gold case. However it’s incomparable with the jewelled delight of this timepiece…
Sizing at 42.5mm diameter, the watches are around 10.39mm which isn’t too chunky given the iced up design that you may find on an expensive Audemars Piguet bezel or a jewelled up Daytona. Crafted out of white gold, the baguette-cut diamond bezel has been meticulously crafted in order to attain their signature six sided bezel with each of the six edges being reminiscent of the equally iconic Maltese cross.
The dial is sunburst blue and is lacquered, allowing light to be cast throughout and enhancing the nine baguette-cut diamonds hour markers. The other three are replaced by an aperture that exposes a skeletonised tourbillon regulator that enhances the precision of these magnificent timepieces.
We said Vacheron Constanin are horological masters, right? The sort of He-Man of the timekeeping universe with a tad more power than Greyskull. This continues right through to the strap which is fitted with a high quality interchangeable system. Available in a white gold integrated bracelet, blue calfskin leather strap and a blue rubber variant, the leather and rubber straps are fitted with a white gold pin buckle secured with 16 baguette cut diamonds.
They are powered by the exceptional automatic tourbillon calibre 2160. Given a very slim 5.65mm thickness and just 188 components, they are supported by a 22K gold rotor and offer a fantastic 80 hour power reserve, beating at a modest 18,000VpH. We could see you sharp Timelords pulling this off with a blue pullover jumper or a navy suit for the boardroom.

Keeping on the new watch wave, Vacheron Constantin have similarly released the Les Cabinotiers Minute Repeater Tourbillon 6650C/000G-084C in celebration of the Arabesque & Les Cabinotiers Minute Repeater Tourbillon. We know it’s a mouthful if you want to show off this piece to your colleagues but trust us it’s worth it.

They are a tribute to the Plan-Les-Ouates’ adventure to Turkey in 1817 when they were the focal point of the Ottoman Empire. They sent watches over and a partnership formed between Vacheron and the key ruling families over there.
This watch is therefore designed with Muslim emblems and is designed on the front with design cues that closely replicates the Arabesque, floral patterns found inside of the Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi.
At 44mm x 13.5mm thick, they are very bulky on the wrist and should be treated like wearing a Picasso. After all, the case and face is white gold and hand engraved. Specifically, they took around 3 months to complete the engraving alone. We can see why. The front of the watch is made up of a miniscule lattice design that follows the traditional mashrabiyas windows and the face required a tenth-of-a-millimetre incisions to achieve the intricate floral effect against the black background. Considering that this worked around the skeletonised tourbillon at 6 o’clock, we have complete admiration for this beauty!
The watch is powered by the 2755 movement. Made up of 471 components, they offer a weekend-proof 58 hour power reserve and an 18,000VpH. The tourbillon ensures maximum precision as well as rubber stamped with Hallmark of Geneva certification.
FItted with a black alligator leather strap, we recommend you wear this with your best outfits for those special occasions. We are talking about a tastefully tailored charcoal suit or a crisp cream tux if you are feeling particulate debonair and showy.

Upon its release, it was determined that it would be exclusively sold to the Chinese markets for a month before being available to all of us. Well, it’s been a month and we are done with salivating!
They closely mirror the tourbillon watches of the past, including famed design codes like a round stepped case and geometrically opposing straight lugs that cut away from the case. However, they both feature a polished finish to catch the eyes.
The case is 38mm in diameter and given a slight height of 7.77mm which is perfect for the gent looking for an accessible timepiece to slip under the cuff. Perhaps the bell of the ball is the delightful greeny olive dial.
The green sheen is given a sunburst finish to let light shine throughout it. This is especially important as it allows the golden faceted hour markers that elegantly surround the face to be promoted. Furthermore, the sharped Dauphine hands are tapered to give a precision point at the white railway track surrounding the periphery of the face.
The small seconds based at 6 o’clock is a great addition to the watch too as it adds a level of technical quality of the piece, alongside it seamlessly fitting in through its rose gold hand.
Flip the watch over to expose the majesty of the sapphire crystal back. This gives a direct view into the Calibre 4400 AS. Featuring Hallmark of Geneva finishes like hand bevelled bridges and a Côtes de Genève aesthetic on the baseplate, they have a 65 hour power reserve and a 28,800VpH.
Secured with a green alligator strap, we think you’d look sublime if you wore this with a green cashmere jumper or an equally moody green velvet suit the Joker would be, how shall we put it…green with envy!

4. Vacheron Constantin Traditionnelle Tourbillon Retrograde Date Openface 6010T/000R-B638
Watches and Wonders 2023 was a phenomenal spectacle for watch lovers. However, amidst all the surprises of an Oris Kermit and Rolex’s new 1908, we can sometimes neglect high quality novelties that fall by the wayside. None more so than the incredible Traditionelle Retrograde Openface.
Source - V.C
We don’t typically associate them with ultra-modern watches because why would they need to? They are over 250 years old and have established a reputation akin to Roger Federer in tennis. Perhaps they truly are the G.O.A.T of horological mastery, accuracy and design.
Of course, being the pros that they are, they seek to constantly evolve and have since produced this phenomenal stunner. With a 41mm case diameter and around 11.07mm tall, they are made out of 18K pink gold that's polished throughout, including the tops, sides and lugs. The case still follows the stepped design and fluted caseback. Still very classical, but that's not a problem for such an iconic collection.
The modernity here is down to the dial. Given classical gold Dauphine hands and similarly gold baton hour markers, there is a neat white railway track around the edge. Further into the centre of the face, notice the opaline flange that is immediately accompanied by a hand-guilloche chapter ring that arches around and shows the retrograde date track.
The retrograde date function is very innovative as once it reaches day 31 (near 3 o’clock), it immediately springs back to 1 (near 9 o’clock). Like playing those old school pinball games, this is a genuine whizz of engineering. The retrograde date is read by an 18K blackened gold hand with a white arrow shaped tip.
If you can tear your eyes from the retrograde date function for a minute, look just underneath it as it's entirely openworked which exposes a few parts of the retrograde mechanism. Furthermore, the openworked face is given a plate that's given a grey surface treatment to keep the front in a constant dark theme.
Look down even further and you’ll see that the bottom of the piece is almost entirely skeletonised and fitted with a different guilloché-engraved plate and a large aperture that's taken up by an equally skeletonised tourbillon. We love the tourbillon is one of their hallmarks, presented by a Maltese Cross aesthetic over the front of the complication.
They are powered by the 2162 R31 calibre. This automatic movement is 6.25mm thick and given a gold peripheral rotor. Running at 18,000VpH, the watch has a 72 hour power reserve and a Poinçon de Genève certification.
Fitted with a grey hand stitched alligator leather strap and secured with an 18K folding clasp, we recommend you wear this with a grey cashmere jumper or a burgundy suit for those charming devils!

Salmon dials are becoming one of the hottest shades of 2023. Have you seen the H.Moser & Cie Streamliner Centre Seconds Smoked Salmon for starters? Or perhaps the ultra complicated yet breathtaking Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar Chronograph 5270P-001,
It’s enough to start a South Carolina BBQ!

Sized at 42.5mm, the 9.7mm thick watches are primed for the highly stylish gent who want a watch with a little extra pizazz. Crafted out of the highly lauded platinum material, they are incredibly fashionable, but also rather pricey as you can expect for such a precious metal.
Why not cast your eyes over the face to see how appealing and popular salmon can be. Given a sun-burst finish, the aesthetic radiates light throughout, promoting the minute track which is made up of diamond polished white gold spheres.
The hour markers are composed of applied white gold batons which differentiate in sizes, including long stems at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock, alongside smaller sizes between them. The reason why they vary in size is to allow retrograde date display along the top of the piece to be fully displayed.
For those wanting a free Visual Acuity Test, we recommend you try and locate the Maltese Cross emblem. Spotted below 12 o’clock above “VACHERON CONSTANTIN” text, it’s sandblasted and made from pink gold. It is nice to see the brand flaunting their impressive lineage that stretches back two and a half centuries.
They are powered by an in-house automatic calibre, The 2460 R31R7/3. Totalling 276 components, they have a 40 hour power reserve and a frequency of around 28,800VpH. Need we mention the impactful Poinçon de Genève stamp of quality? Fitted with a navy alligator strap, we can picture you strolling around in a camel peacoat with brown brogues and this beauty adorned on your wrist.

6. Vacheron Constantin Overseas Moon Phase Retrograde Date
The Overseas collection first touched our hearts in 1996 when it became the chic alternative to the 222 collection. Freshly updated in 2016, they follow the effortless design of a luxury sports watch, akin to the likes of the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak and The Patek Philippe Nautilus. Interestingly, the 222 was also released during the 1970s like AP and Patek during the height of sports-luxury take over.

This latest edition does everything right in terms of cementing the Overseas line as a sporty yet luxurious piece. Sized at 41mm, the case remains true to the same, including an iconic six sided bezel and complimenting satin-brushed surfaces with a fluted crown.
Fitted with a lacquer blue dial, the flange is given a fantastic finish which supports the excellent satin-brushed centre that gives a brilliant shine. The hour markers and hands are crafted out of white gold, while just the tip of the retrograde hand features the precious metal and is fitted with Super-Luminova.
We are howling with delight thanks to the moonphase indication situated at 6 o’clock which has a blue sheen that fits in with the cobalt blue background. Just how complex is the moonphase complication? You can expect a deviation of one day within 122 years! The retrograde function sits at the top of the face in an arc and takes away a proportion of the hour markers from 10 to 2.
They are powered by the Calibre 2460 R31L/2. Offering 40 hours of power reserve and a 28,800 VpH, they are fitted with 27 jewels and power a multitude of complications including a moonphase indiciation, retrograde date display and impeccable timekeeping functionality. Fitted with a steel bracelet, blue calfskin or a rubber strap, we recommend you wear this with a black suit or a cream jumper for those cold winter months.

7. Vacheron Constantin Overseas Chronograph Panda Dial 5500V/110A-B686
Not the kind of the Panda you’d find at your local zoo, but rather a specific dial design that has become popularised over the years due to its legibility and effortless styling. A panda dial is characterised by a white dial background and three black sub dials that imitates the eyes and mouth of the Panda. Great examples are the Rolex Daytona 126500LN, The Breitling Navitimer B01 Chronograph and TAG Heuer Carrera 60th Anniversary.
Source - V.C
Sized at 42.5mm of steel, the Overseas Chronograph Panda Dial negates any precious metal beauty for a rock solid design, ready to see you through any of life's everyday activities. Fitted in a tonneau shaped case, they are vertically brushed adhering to the sporty aesthetic. Furthemore, the six sided bezel rests upon the top in the classic Maltese shaping.
Capable of offering 150 metres of water resistance, the crown is screwed in and the push pieces are locked in, ensuring the resistance. This is furthered by the soft-iron case which counteracts magnetism.
The panda theme comes in when taking a long look at the dial. Featuring a silver toned dial with accompanying black sub-dials, this aesthetic mirrors that of the classic Rolex Daytonas which needed the strong differentiation to allow racing drivers to measure elapsed time.
The centre of the dial undergoes a gorgeous sunburst finish which allows every element of the watch to shine when in the presence of light. We know. Panda’s are typically black and white, but we feel that the silver tone offers a muted beauty which allows the watch to be understated and more refined.
The sub-dials positioned at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock are black and boldly stand out against the dial face. Vacheron opt for legibility here within the 30 minute and 12 hour chronograph counters at 3 and 6 o'clock by offering Arabic numerals as opposed to the batons at 9 o’clock.
The chapter ring is given white gold faceted and applied hour mariners and minute track, and it clearly stands out against a black sloping flange that features white markings and a date aperture between 4 and 5 o’clock. Powered by the Calibre 5200, you can anticipate a 52 hour power reserve alongside a 28,800VpH. The sapphire caseback allows you to witness the Geneva stripes and circular graining effects.
Fitted with a steel bracelet or a black calfskin leather strap, pair this with a grey jumper or a black sports jacket if you are out in the Grandstand.

8. Vacheron Constantin Traditionnelle Tourbillon
The Vacheron Constantin Traditionnelle Tourbillon adds a spice of green to a classical collection.
Source - V.C
Sized at 41mm, they are crafted out of platinum which is just a hint at the level of luxury within them. This classical collection goes one step further with a modernised dial ensuring they jump ahead of time with contemporary consumers.
Given a beautiful green dial, galvanic treatment is utilised here which not only adds a deeper tone, but a stupendous sheen across the board, especially when considering the shine already produced by the platinum material.
The caseback is fluted which keeps in with the beauty of the circular casing and adds an added layer to them. There is a railway minute track that adds an extra dimension to these wondrous pieces. The hour markers and Dauphine hands are crafted from white gold which makes them instantly visible from the evergreen dial.
And how could we forget the skeletonised tourbillon at 6 o’clock? Allowing an increased level of precision, it adds an extra level of modernity to them. They are powered by the Calibre 2160/1. Measuring 5.65mm, the movement is exceptionally thin, which is especially impressive considering the 18,000 VpH and 80 hour power reserve.
Mind you, we cannot grumble as you can whip this away for a long weekend and still make it back for that Monday morning early meeting. Fitted onto an alligator green leather strap, they look very sharp against a green cashmere jumper and a pair of black jeans. Take things easy and let the watch do the talking!

9. Vacheron Constantin Overseas Chronograph 5500V/110R-B952
Pink gold and blue is becoming a lethal combination in horology and has never looked so good when looking at The Overseas Chronograph 5500V/110R-B952.
Source - V.C
Sized at 42.5mm, this has enough glamour to fill both the Oscars and Grammy red carpet…at the same time. These pink gold watches will take up a large proportion of your wrist and are surely a good thing for those who like to flaunt their goods, but a drawback for those who like to keep things sleek. Given a height of 13.7mm, they are fitted with a Maltese inspired six sided bezel that's mirror-polished.
The polishing continues across the entire model. The sizing does entitle you to reach 150 metres of water resistance due to the screwed in crown and push pieces. Given a blue dial with a beautiful sunburst satin-finished aesthetic, the blue beauty also runs along the flange and three matte finished three sub-dials.
The pink gold applied hour markers and sharpened hands are dosed with Super-Luminova which results in a beautiful blue glow in the dark. Timekeeping has never been so stylish yet practical, considering the useful 30-minute and 12 hour elapsed counters at 3 and 6 o’clock and a small seconds counter at 9 o’clock. Don’t forget the date aperture, located between 4 and 5 o’clock!
Powered by the Calibre 5200, the Overseas Chronograph operates at 28,800VpH and offers 52 hours of power reserve; they feature a 22K gold rotor and superb architecture including Geneva stripes, all of which can be viewed through the sapphire caseback. Locked in by an 18K rose gold bracelet or a navy blue calfskin leather strap, wear this with a green field jacket if you are out shooting with your friends, or a navy blue suit if you prefer to keep things solely professional.

10. Vacheron Constantin Historiques 222 4200H/222J-B935
With a history as great as the Omega Speedmaster (almost), The Historiques 222 has an incredible history that follows the release of the chic-sports watch obsession in the 1970s and a celebration of their 222nd anniversary. This includes the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak in 1972 with the Gerald Genta inspired design and similarly designed Patek Philippe Nautilus from 1976.
Source - V.C
Released as the 222 to compete with these major luxury brands, the brainchild behind this legendary design was Jorg Hysek. He was a Swiss designer that has an incredible legacy that runs across other brands like Breguet and Seiko, and now has founded his own independent brand “Hysek”.
In effect, this was a direct deviation away from the dressy Patrimony and Traditionelle collections. Originally made in steel, later yellow gold or two-tone and water resistant to 120 metres, they were re-interpreted at Watches and Wonders 2022.
Sized at 37mm, they are faithful to the past and also perfect for the gentleman that wants to wear this under cuffs. Crafted out of 18K 3N yellow gold, this watch is crafted out of three parts with a separate sapphire caseback. Given an iconic fluted bezel and a Maltese cross that resides at 5 o’clock, the dial continues the golden allure with a gold tone colour.
Made up of 2 hands without a second hand, there's a date aperture at 3 o’clock and an integrated yellow gold bracelet. They have a distinctly vintage design which is perfect due to the popularity vintage watches have in the modern era. You get the blessed combination of a vintage design and a modern movement! But there’s another type of movement that has caught many collectors' attention. Not sure what we were on about? Have a look below;
The watches are powered by the Calibre 2455/2. Running at 28,800VpH and offering a power reserve of 40 hours, the ultra thin 194 component movement has more of a kick than the lion of football Zlatan Ibrahimovic who is prone to a Daytona or two.
One of his epic lineup features the 'John Mayer Dial' 116508 which as you avid enthusiasts know has already been discontinued. We recommend you wear this with a black suit or a grey overcoat to let the gold stand up and be counted.

11. Vacheron Constantin Patrimony Perpetual Calendar Ultra-Thin 43175/000R-9687
VC have a great relationship with the perpetual calendar complication which stretches back to 1884 when they released a pocket watch that could read months with different days like 28 or 31 days.
Source - V.C
The designs follow the classic Patrimony designs of the 1950s. Sized at 41mm, the watches are crafted out of 18K pink gold and feature an 8.9mm height, meaning they are very slim. Given a gently tilted bezel that slopes down, they lead into tapered lugs which connect the brown alligator strap.
For vintage fans, we recommend you put down your cup of coffee for a tick. The dial is given a sublime opaline dial with a silvery sheen, showcasing a date sub counter at 3 o’clock, the day of the week at 9 o’clock and 48th month and leap year indications at 12 o’clock. Not enough? Look down and spot the moon phase complication at 6 o’clock which features a navy blue sky and a miniature Maltese cross at the bottom of it.
The golden hour markers are tapered and alternate between batons and triangles. The hands are batons and are slimmed down to pointed edges. The watches are powered by the Calibre 1120 QP movement. Fitted with a 2.45mm height, the movement develops from the ebauche Jaeger-LeCoultre 920 calibre. Offering a 19,800VpH and a 40 hour power reserve, this 276 component calibre is solid enough to match your lifestyle. We think you could pull this off with a white suit shirt or a green cashmere jumper if you really want to style it out.

12. Vacheron Constantin Traditionelle Complete Calendar
We’ve seen platinum, pink and even yellow gold. How about a little unorthodox white gold for good measure?
Source - V.C
Sized at 41mm, the watches are 10.7mm high which isn’t too restrictive and cumbersome. Following the circular case design, these terrific timepieces have short slender lugs that keep with the refined bezel. There’s no excess around here!
The dial is slate grey which offers a strong contrast against the white gold. This is also the same principle for the white gold applied markers and hands. Featuring a rectangular month aperture at 3 o’clock and a day aperture at 9 o’clock, this is a very refined design that suits those looking to buy a minimalist timepiece.
Even the moonphase complication at 6 o’clock fits in with a grey aesthetic as the typically blue night sky is dimmed to the same grey sheen, as well as the moon. The watch looks weightless and very spacious due to a similar colour scheme throughout.
The watches are powered by the Calibre 2460. Although the 40 hour power reserve is nothing to write home about (literally) and a 4Hz beat, the moon phase only requires one alteration every 122 years. Hows that for first rate precision! Fitted onto a black alligator strap, we reckon you’d look sublime if you wore this with a grey suit jacket or a black polo shirt for that dressed down look.
