“Born To Dare”

If you are born to risk it all, you are likely going to end up with a Tudor strapped on your wrist.

Stepping out of their smaller cousin’s shoes, Tudor has now become a big boy in the top Swiss watch brands playground. They can suddenly run and go on all the slides with gusto.

With a history that's closely linked to grandstand superstars Rolex, Tudor has received the best inspiration, value for money and creative influence in the best watches under £5,000 category.

Or the midweight luxury marketplace as we like to call it!

Established in 1926 by a watch dealer and maker named Veuve de Philippe Hüther, they collaborated with Rolex founder Hans Wilsdorf to produce the now famous Tudor title. So, why do we keep mentioning Rolex, and why are they so influential here?

Well, the answer is simple. In fact, we can take the answer straight from Hans Wilsdorf’s own mouth:

For some years now, I have been considering the idea of making a watch that our agents could sell at a more modest price than our Rolex watches, and yet one that would attain the standard of dependability for which Rolex is famous. I decided to form a separate company, with the object of making and marketing this new watch. It is called the TUDOR watch company.” (Tudor)

Quality and dependability, all at a much more affordable price than Rolex watches? Thank you, Hans!

Right down to the models, there is clear Rolex influence flourishing everywhere, spotted in the classic and a chosen collection of modern variants. For example, one of the first Tudor dive watches, the Tudor Oyster 4463, took the Oyster title from Rolex’s very own portfolio, linking to their durable and reliable waterproof cases.

Furthermore, this operates in conjunction with the equally patented Oyster-type crown that is showcased. They have proved to be formidable opposition against their horological competition. Continuously winning Best Sports Watch Prize at GPHG for over a decade since 2013, they emerged victorious one more time in 2023 with the legendary Pelagos 39mm

Outside of their formidable luxury sports watches, they have a strong list of phenomenal collections. In the modern era, they keep their timepieces organised in 11 distinct collections;

  • Prince
  • Pelagos
  • Ranger
  • Royal
  • Glamour
  • 1926
  • Black Bay
  • Grantour
  • Heritage
  • Fastrider
  • North Flag

Across all of these eclectic series, they have become renowned for their incredible level of craftsmanship. This of course could not be achieved without a phenomenal workshop for the chaps over in Switzerland to tap into. In this case, it’s Le Locle.

Tudor Le Locle Switzerland

Expanding over 5,500 square metres, the Le Locle manufacture is closely connected to the older, 2016 Kenissi manufacture, ensuring the entire process can be kept within close proximity.

For all of the current models, they use in-house manufactured calibres that offer superior performance. The Le Locle based facility is the first manufacture that the brand has created that's dedicated solely to their endeavours.

Initially under construction in 2018, it was finally completed in 2023. Given a bright red exterior, tying with their desired aesthetic, the facility is a loyal representation of the brand, especially since it produces masterful movements, and completely in-house components for a personalised aesthetic.

The timepieces are tested here using automated testing systems to ensure quality remains consistent across the board.

For the METAS models, this includes measuring the:

  • Anti Magnetism to ensure the watches reach 15,000 gauss
  • Precision to attain that 0/+5 seconds per day accuracy
  • Waterproofness to attain the 200 metres of water resistance
  • Power Reserve of 70 hours
  • Swiss Made to ensure optimal quality of the materials used.

So, for a brand that's as powerful as it is self-sufficient, how could we possibly try and condense all of its portfolio into just the best Tudor watches? Luckily, due to the guru’s back at Chrono Hunter HQ, we can produce a list for that very matter. Or if you need to scratch that timekeeping itch and want to buy a Tudor quickly.

Clocks ticking…let’s get into it!

1. Tudor Pelagos FXD Chrono 25827KN

Tudor has a habit of ending up on the main sporting stages.

Sponsoring F1 Team, Visa Cash App RB, and joining ex-football legend David Beckham and his football team, Inter Miami FC, one of their latest ventures pushes them into the realms of unbridled speed…It’s not time to get your skates on rather hop on board your bike thanks to the cycling inspired Pelagos FXD Chrono 25827KN.

Best Place To Buy A Luxury Watch  Best Place To Sell A Luxury Watch

Partnering with Swiss pro racing cyclist Fabian Cancellara, the winner of the Olympics and World Championships, the collaboration seeks to offer a timepiece that provides excellent timekeeping alongside optimal weight for those final dash finishes…or last minute sprints to make that key meeting!

The Pelagos FXD Chrono 25827KN offers a distinct difference to the previous Pelagos FXD we have seen previously, like the Alinghi inspired model. However, for the main dimensions and design themes, the models are as accurate as one of Ollie Watkins injury time strikes.

Coming in a carbon composite case, the 43mm x 13.2mm timepieces are built to be inherently light, and are interestingly built in the same material as the riders bikes. Lightness and durability is critical in this industry.

Affixed with dual pushers beside the screw-down crown on the right side of the case, the timepieces are precise and built to be extremely durable. We say durable, as this watch can offer 100 metres of water resistance for genteel swimming or flaunting poolside.

Along the top is a 60-minute fixed bezel in the same black finish as the case. For the dial, it’s given a matte black finish that allows the cube style hour markers and legendary Snowflake hands to clearly stand out. Coated with Super-Luminova, there is lots to offer in terms of optimal legibility.

The jolts of red along the chronograph sub counters at 3 and 9 o’clock serve to promote the white hands and scales. Red is also spotted along the altered tachymetric scale. Altering the standard tachymetric scale designed for race cars, the numbers are dropped to a highest units/hour of 240, offering a much more accurate reflection of cyclists speeds.

Within the MT5813 calibre, users can expect a 28,800VpH alongside a weekend-proof 70 hour power reserve. Equally, the movements are made up of 41 jewels and a silicon balance spring for anti-magnetism.

2. Tudor Black Bay 58 - Inter Milan

After Inter Milan took home their 20th Scudetto, winning Serie-A, they decided it was only fair to do something extra special for the Nerazzurri. After all, the Scudetto means the team gets their second star emblazoned on the shirts. Well done, lads!

Best Place To Buy A Luxury Watch  Best Place To Sell A Luxury Watch

Turning to the Black Bay line, this stalwart has a case size of 39mm and a thickness of 11.9mm, resulting in an accessible timepiece to wear in the office or when popping champagne at that celebratory event. Furthermore, the 200 metre water resistance is another reason why this seemingly diminutive piece is a high-powered terrier like Inter-Milan defender, Matteo Darmian.

You might say this novelty has a real bark to its bite especially with that bold blue dial. The steel material features polished edges alongside brushed tops, surrounded by a unidirectional black bezel with a gilt 60-minute dive scale. This golden twinge works well with celebrating the prestigious event, but ties in well with the dial.

Featuring a fresh ombré dial, the pieces are given a thick, deep blue centre that graduates to a black periphery. The blue is of course a reference to the Inter Milan jerseys that are worn with pride by squad members.

This is a stunning aesthetic, and allows the gilt baton and dot hour markers with cream Super-Luminova to clearly stand out. Don’t forget the Inter Milan crest and two star design under the central hands!

Secured onto a 3-link steel bracelet, we can picture these pieces being pulled off with a black suit, or similarly dark blue sports jacket when out and about at that late night hot spot.

Within the Black Bay 58 is the MT5402 calibre. COSC certified, the timepieces are bi-directional and offer a rapid 28,800VpH (4Hz) alongside a 70 hour power reserve. Fitted with a silicon balance spring, the automatic movement is impervious to most magnetism.

3. Tudor Black Bay M7941A1A0NU

Otis Redding may have sung about “Sitting On The Dock Of The Bay”

But we ain’t talking about music…more round the Black Bay, easily one of the brand's flagship lines. Over the years since its initial release in 2012 there have been minimal alterations changing the design and the themes of the pieces.

Much like the recognisable Nautilus from Patek Philippe or Royal Oak by Audemars Piguet, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Best Place To Buy A Luxury Watch  Best Place To Sell A Luxury Watch

While the same applies to this latest Black Bay M7941A1A0NU. The models are infinitely more powerful and remain a critical part of every divers, sportsman or everyday wardrobe.

Down to the details now and the Black Bay keeps its dimensions delightful suited for those sporty enthusiasts. Measuring 41mm x 13.6mm which is quite large on the wrist, we like the satin-finishes and polished aesthetics across the steel material. Mind you they can be doubled up as dress watches to an extent, especially since they are locked onto a steel bracelet.

Along the top is a box-style sapphire crystal that priorities maximum legibility, and offers a magnifying effect across the dial. Surrounding it is a black ceramic bezel that features a white diving scale. Furthermore, they feature a serrated edge that maximises grip on the bezel.

The dial is black as a Halloween night just like the bezel. Featuring silver dot and baton hour markers, they work well with the Snowflake hands as they feature a Super-Luminova centre. The sun-ray brushed finish against the dial does offer a good shine, allowing the markers and hands to be clearly presented.

Within the timepieces pulsates the MT5602-U calibre. Master Chronometer certified, expect maximum accuracy alongside longevity. Delivering precision of -2/+4 seconds per day, it is vastly superior to the classic COSC certification of -4/+6 seconds per day.

4. Tudor Black Bay Ceramic M79210CNU

In 2024, they joined forces with Red Bull's second team, Visa Cash App RB F1 Team. Boasting exceptional drivers like Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda, could we see them racing through the finish line? With drivers like these, we think so!

Daniel Ricciardo

Best Place To Buy A Luxury Watch  Best Place To Sell A Luxury Watch

Remember when Daniel Craig flexed an unseen Omega Speedmaster with a white dial back in 2023? Well, they decided to opt for this excellent marketing tactic by having Ricciardo boasting the previously unreleased timepiece during an official photoshoot.

In very much the same vein as a brand new James Bond flick, it’s now firmly within their catalogue and we are simply delirious with excitement. Without further ado, let's reveal the Black Ceramic M79210CNU.

At 41mm, the black ceramic material naturally produces a matte finish, pertaining to its inherent sporty capability. Across the top is a very functional steel bezel with a black PVD finish. Interestingly, this applies to the 60-minute scale, meaning legibility is quite difficult… But what Formula One drivers would need a diving scale?

For the dial, users are treated to what could be considered a very unorthodox aesthetic. Say goodbye to monochrome and hello to colour! Not quite the rainbow shades of an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Frosted Gold Double Balance Wheel Openworked, but we can still revel in their bravery.

Inspired by the Visa Cash App RB livery, the deep blue shade is a definite link to the racing lineup. This is especially the case since the models feature applied hour markers and hands that are filled with snow-white Super-Luminova for optimal legibility. Just don’t tell the Wicked Witch about this sublime piece that is overflowing with energetic spirit.

Featuring an exhibition caseback, users are treated to the high-powered Calibre MT5602-1U. Master Chronometer certified, expect a solid -2/+4 seconds per day precision, 70 hour power reserve and a solid 200 metres of water resistance.

5. Tudor Black Bay M7941A1A0RU

You are in the mood for a nice stroll in the countryside, but want to be able to head to a high-class bar downtown for a Singapore Sling or Gimlet.

You like the SUV for offroading days, but don’t mind zooming down the Autobahn in a Porsche sports car. For the man who needs a piece for everything, we suggest the Pelagos FXD 25717N.

Best Place To Buy A Luxury Watch  Best Place To Sell A Luxury Watch

Released at Watches and Wonders 2023, the Black Bay M7941A1A0RU is objectively one of the most attractive timepieces in their current stable. Keeping to its classic 41mm diameter, the 13.6mm material thickness is quite chunky, but still capable of being flaunted with a navy suit for impressing the boss.

Crafted out of a steel material, there is 200 metre water resistance to enjoy. Chances are, you’ll never actually need to use anything close to this maximum depth, but it helps to know that if you are a bit tipsy on your yacht and go overboard, your timepiece won’t capsize.

Unlike other Black Bay models, this beauty does away with black bezels, and instead opts for a very bright, Pepsi red aluminium insert. This may come across as dramatic for some, but we believe that even the most discerning horophile will be able to appreciate the sharp colour contrast of the burgundy bezel and silver case.

Better still, is the distinction between the bezel and the black dial. Made up of gold-toned hour markers, they are all coated with a creamy luminescence for maximum legibility. This works in conjunction with the Snowflake hands that are equally legible and feature those same golden edges.

The beautiful three handed display that’s akin to the TAG Heuer Carrera Date in pink sported by Ryan Gosling at the Barbie premiere has a special trick up its sleeve..the trusty MT5602-U movement. Providing 25 jewels within a 6.5mm tall calibre, this Master Chronometer certified piece ensures a 28,800VpH, 70 hour power reserve and a guaranteed resistance of 15,000 Gauss as per many Omega models.

6. Tudor Black Bay Chrono M79360N - Pink Dial

Our next best watch on our horological hit list is the Black Bay Chrono M79360N.

Now this may be the brightest and most colourful piece on this list. We saw Barbiecore tickling the world pink back in 2023. But they have decided to add a pink similar shade in celebration of something a little more sportier.

Best Place To Buy A Luxury Watch  Best Place To Sell A Luxury Watch

Celebrating the collaboration with Inter Miami FC, Tudor has become the Official Timekeeper of the team. Inspired by the jerseys the players wear with pride, it appears that manager and brand ambassador David Beckham has pulled a few strings in March 2024 to get them on board.

Just how pink are we talking? Before we get you blushing or reaching for a smoked salmon canape, we need to cover the rest of this beauty first!

Crafted from steel, it has a case diameter of 41mm and a thickness of nearly 14.5mm. For some wearers, the thickness may prove a tad excessive for some, but fans can appreciate the sporty heritage of the Black Bay Chrono. Finished with a polished and satin finish, these babies are exceptionally well produced.

Along the top is a fixed 316L steel bezel that features a black anodised aluminium insert. Accompanied by a silver tachymetric scale, this is clearly distinguishable allowing users to measure both speed and distance. On the right of the case are two prominent pushers alongside a large crown.

This is a real standout piece for those who want to buy a Tudor with panache, flex appeal and to get in touch with their female side.

If not, may we point you to our roundup of the best ladies watches for Christmas that may inspire you to push the buy button for your old or new squeeze.

Yielding 200 metres of water resistance, the domed sapphire crystal on this pink dial offering gives super strong protection, alongside some outstanding visual theatre. Hint, this is where the pink comes into play and merits being on our selection of the best Tudor watches!

Given a powder pink colour, this soft shade offers a bright counter to the moody black bezel. Furthermore, it holds practical value as it allows the Snowflake hands and dot hour markers to clearly stand out, especially since they are coated with Luminova. The date aperture based at 6 o’clock is equally a handy feature for quickly discerning the date on the move.

Fitted with two black chronograph subdials at 3 and 9 o’clock, these have highly legible white text and can quickly measure varying speeds. This would all mean nothing if it wasn’t for the ultra reliable MT5813 COSC certified movement.

Offering a 70 hour power reserve, the bi-directional rotor system offers self-winding capability and longevity due to the COSC certification.

7. Tudor Black Bay 58 - 18K Yellow Gold

If you think all that glitters is gold, well you’d be right.

Especially, if you were in Geneva for Watches and Wonders 2024, you would surely have crowded around their timekeeping table. If you weren’t there… Don’t worry, we were there thanks to Franck Muller and their WPHH event

And one that made the cut is the ostentatious Black Bay 58 in yellow gold. Who said they are just an all encompassing luxury sports brand? Weighing in at over 27 grand of your finest English pounds, this is the most expensive Tudor at the time of writing.

Best Place To Buy A Luxury Watch  Best Place To Sell A Luxury Watch

The Black Bay 58 may have a few of you horophiles already in the know about its inspiration. With a great nod to classic timepieces from 1958, the line celebrates their first landmark of reaching 200 metres of water resistance.

At 39mm x 12.7mm, these watches shed their dive watch purpose and demonstrate their ability to wear many horological hats. Not quite the one and done Rolex Submariner but you get the picture.

Gracing the boardroom, rooftop terrace, or dinner date, this will no doubt stand out for all the right reasons, despite its over the top glitzy look. Sure, it may be a big chunk of gold but this bad boy can grace any razzmatazz event like the Golden Globes or Emmys…if you are lucky enough to wangle an invite.

Crafted out of 18K yellow gold from the bracelet to the case and down to the crown, they have ensured to keep luxury the main focal point of this beauty. But, what if we were to say that there is a distinctly Royal edge to these beauties?

Combining an olive green coloured ceramic bezel with tropical 60-minute dive scale, users will be happy to learn that they will look less like a Christmas tree, and more like King Charles during his Coronation

The green shade continues onto the dial. Wimbledon, eat your heart out! Perhaps two time champion Carlos Alcaraz needs to swap out his Rolex Daytona meteorite for one of these? Featuring a glorious combination of dive inspired baton and dot hour markers with signature Snowflake hands, all of the above are coated with Super-Luminova for optimal legibility in all conditions.

Given vintage gilt edging, we hope you aren’t completely drowned by this best Tudor watch. Granted they have treated us to an open caseback, protected by a sapphire crystal, allowing the pumping pistons of the MT5400 calibre. COSC certified, they yield a 70 hour power reserve with 27 jewels.

8. Tudor Pelagos 39mm

When the Pelagos 39mm was released in 2023, the horological world came to an almighty standstill. Yes…more than queuing for the latest Moonswatch. At the time of writing in 2024, we are on to 3 more drops, namely Lava, Desert and Polar Lights. Come on…keep up!

In essence, we’re talking here about a showstopper of a piece that’s the equivalent of Jay-Z shutting down the Grammys, or Halle Berry giving a speech that sent the Oscars into raptures.

Best Place To Buy A Luxury Watch  Best Place To Sell A Luxury Watch

We really cannot celebrate this glorious Pelagos 39mm enough!

Eventually winning the GPHG Sports Watch Price in 2023, the Pelagos sizes up at 39mm x 11.8mm, and crafted out of grade 2 titanium. The material is inherently much lighter than steel and is given a beautiful satin-finish that pushes the watches into the realms of sheer luxury.

Past the stout case with its tight lugs, the watches yield a large, grade 2 titanium black bezel with serrated edge for easy grip. Given a sun-ray satin finish on the ceramic bezel, the Pelagos features a 60-minute dive scale with a luminous dot at the 60 figure on the scale.

For the dial, the pitch black shade has a sun-ray satin finish with sandblasted flange and monobloc ceramic composite hour markers, consisting of cubes and a triangle located at 12 ‘clock. For the Snowflake hands, these also have luminescence abound, making them easy to see, even in the murkiest of depths.

Water resistant to 200 metres, the watches really are a sight to behold for the modern wearer looking for a dive buddy to take with him across his everyday life. For build quality and all entry level standards of buying a first luxury watch, this ticks many of those crucial boxes. But it’s all just titanium and luminescence, if not for the hardy MT5400 calibre.

Providing a weekend-proof 70 hour power reserve with COSC certification, it means they go through rigorous tests to ensure quality, longevity and capably stand up to our examination as one of our best Tudor watches to buy this year.

9. Tudor Pelagos FXD 25717N

The after work drinks are nice and the private office with your name on the door is a celebrated part of your life. But deep down, there is something primal that requires you to break free from corporate chains. There is a watch that has become completely rugged for this very purpose!

Best Place To Buy A Luxury Watch  Best Place To Sell A Luxury Watch

Our next best Tudor watch won’t make you grind your gears in a hurry. Step forward the Pelagos FXD 25717N in titanium.

Originally released for the Marine Nationale, or French Navy to the British folks, the Pelagos FXD has become a dressy timepiece over the years. However, they have sought to go back in time with reference 25717N in order to revitalise the militarised elements of the pieces.

Given a tantalising NATO style strap, we see here a case diameter of 42mm and a 12.75 thickness, we are fond of its durability, lightweight appeal and is perfect for modern wearers. The watches feature a large, titanium bezel on top that is rotatable and unidirectional with a 60-minute dive scale in white.

We like how it clearly stands out from the black not to mention its 200 metre water resistance capability (20ATM). As a result, it means you don’t need to worry about water damage when enjoying scuba diving in the Seychelles or swimming in the Mediterranean Sea. Heck, you can take this out for a bit of water-skiing if it takes your fancy.

Further supported by the crown guards and screw down crown, it is a seamless presentation with the black bezel alongside a black dial. This allows the white squared, baton and triangular hour markers to be clearly displayed. Alongside the Snowflake hands, they are again given a good daubing of luminescence, ensuring maximum legibility.

For the calibre, the MT5602 movement comes in a tight 6.5mm thickness yet offers a rapid 28,800VpH alongside a solid 70 hour power reserve. COSC certified and fitted with 25 jewels, wearers will not be upset with this choice of calibre!

10. Tudor Black Bay 58 GMT

When the Black Bay 58 was originally released in 2018, there were clear links to the original Submariner reference 7924 from way back in 1958 when Pele won the World Cup at 17, securing his own gold number. For Watches and Wonders 2024, the Black Bay 58 GMT offers a useful GMT element to the classic dive watch.

Best Place To Buy A Luxury Watch  Best Place To Sell A Luxury Watch

Yielding 200 metres of water resistance, the steel timepieces immediately put a lot of horophiles' concerns to rest about it still being durable and capable of fending off water. At 39mm x 12.8mm, the pieces are perfect for the gent looking for a tough and ergonomic timepiece that can still be worn under a shirt cuff.

We appreciate their commitment to providing the best finishes for their watches. In this case, the brushed and polished combination is a strong unity of sporty and dressier finesse, allowing this to potentially be your everyday driver and one of the best Tudor watches to buy for your collection.

Along the tops, you will discover a 24-hour rotating bezel. The bi-directional bezel is ready for every traveller, while the 24 hour scale is given a gilt colour scheme alongside a serrated bezel edge for easy grip. The Pepsi style, two-tone display in red and black allows for AM and PM times to be easily read, alongside the extra GMT hand that allows users to read multiple time zones.

The domed sapphire crystal rests over the top and sits well within the bezel. This allows users to view the dot and baton hour markers with its distinguished Snowflake hands against the black dial. Filled with lume, they are easy to spot, just like the gilt minute track on the periphery.

Is the GMT functionality not enough? The extra date aperture at 3 o’clock adds another layer of complexity to the pieces. Within the models is the reliable MT5450 calibre. Yielding COSC certification alongside METAS, this Master Chronometer movement is fitted with an automatic mechanism that beats at 4Hz and has a 65 hour power reserve.

That gives you plenty of time to get your wrist game up to speed.

11. Tudor Black Bay 54 79000N

Are you drowning in colour and want a piece that’s about as moody as My Chemical Romance? The Black Bay 54 79000N is a throwback to Watches and Wonders 2023, when it was officially launched, and stole the show as one of the standout pieces.

Best Place To Buy A Luxury Watch  Best Place To Sell A Luxury Watch

A representation of a smaller feature of the Black Bay 54 line, reference 79000N comes in at 37mm x 11.2mm of solid steel. Alongside the 20mm lug width, the pieces yield a polished and satin finish that will go well with all manner of smart and casual outfits.

With no crown guards, this beauty can still hit 200 metres of water resistance, making it a titan of the small timepiece arena and a sure-fire contender as one of the best Tudor watches to buy. We know Gladiator 2 is not out till November 2024 but if Maximus Decimus Meridius rocked a timepiece, this would be it.

Pertaining to the water resistance is the steel bezel with black aluminium insert. Featuring an exceptionally minimalist 60-minute dive scale, there are no interjecting minute markers, and the dark scale fits in perfectly with the low-key design of the pieces.

On the black dial are gilt hour markers and Snowflake hands, filled with lume and offering maximum legibility. Furthermore, the text like 200m 660ft and Chronometer Officially Certified text are equally in golden text to suit the gilt aesthetic.

Within the timepieces beats the COSC certified MT5400. This self-winding movement entitles users to a 70 hour power reserve for those wine tour weekends or hot footing it to that last minute getaway.

12. Tudor Black Bay GMT S&G M79833MN

Timelords will know all about the brand's associations with Rolex. However, what if we were to slide in a link that was undeniably “Rolex” that you would almost cry with glee? We reckon it may even earn the status as one of the best Tudor watches…

What are we talking about exactly? Harking back to 2022, the Black Bay M79833MN was released, which resulted in what horological lovers could classify as the second coming of a horological God. Just how impressive was this beauty? Let’s get straight into the details…

Measuring 41mm x 15mm which is an instant note of a chunky timepiece, this is what you would call a  “statement piece”. Here, the bigger the better, resulting in larger wrist presence alongside a variety of stunning materials. And this particular Black Bay is no exception.

Crafted out of both steel and yellow gold, two-tone timepieces have seen a resurgence due to the precious metals inherent value alongside the affordability of steel. Together, the pair form a desirable combination for every manner of horophile.

Along the top, we see the association with the Rolex lineup. Featuring a two-tone bezel, this is divided into two segments on the anodized aluminium insert, consisting of brown and black. These closely relate to the Root Beer colour scheme, meaning we may end up having to bring about a new nickname for these pieces. “Tan Belt” anyone?

The black dial has gilt hour markers that will satisfy vintage fans with accompanying Snowflake hands. All are coated with luminescence to ensure optimal visibility. Featuring an extra GMT hand, this allows wearers to measure multiple time zones when utilised within the 24 hour bezel.

Handy for those early morning meetings or catching up with family across the oceans. The small date aperture at 3 o’clock is always a welcome addition to a complex beauty like this! Inside the Black Bay GMT is the COSC certified MT5652, giving breath to a 70 hour power reserve.

This beauty is exceptionally tough. We reckon that you could wear this while committed to the Tough Mudder in Brazil, or shaking hands with the CEO at a big business meet.

Conclusion

And with a ring of the bell, we’ve finally reached the end of our lowdown of the best Tudor watches for men at every price point.

Hang on a second though…we have categorically ensured not to discriminate between value, cost or expense.

Providing useful specs over each timepiece alongside a thorough synopsis of each model's technicalities and details, we’ve covered the timepieces that have either set 2024 ablaze, been stone-wall winners over the years, or have that little extra to keep us horophiles ticking along.

Whether looking to buy a Tudor to kickstart your collecting journey, or a big pay-day has allowed you to splash some more cash, we have hopefully given you rigorous information to inform you around your next purchasing decision.

Be it if you want to go all out with a yellow gold Black Bay 58, or find yourself lost in the chronograph eyes of a Black Bay Chrono M79360N, there are definite pros behind each of these pieces.

They have risen out of Rolexes shadow as a top Swiss luxury watch brand that’s on many enthusiasts tongues. No longer will they be changed to reproducing Rolex designs (however our love of the Root Beer inspired Black Bay GMT S&G cannot be understated), but we still see Hans Wilsdorf’s vision of quality being the main centrepiece.

With prices typically holding tight in the four figure range with many under £10,000, you can go crazy and choose a precious metal variant, or lay your trust in steel or titanium for that hardy aesthetic. Affordability, quality, and effortless style… they may just have the lot.

But there’s one problem. Where should you buy a Tudor quickly with a guarantee of a swift turnaround, utmost security and a completely unique platform that’s already revolutionising the industry?
